Oona Koivula is a London-based, award-winning Writer and Director from Finland, with a background in Production Design, as well as short film & music video producing. Oona is a storyteller with a distinct, bold comedic voice, but is also drawn to dark & complex themes and topics, which has led to her to experiment mixing different genres and styles in her work.

Oona has studied film & television production at MetFilm School, University of Westminster, and recently she graduated from London Film Academy with Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking. In the past few years, she has completed countless projects, worked at London-based production companies, and in 2021 co-founded production company Sisu Productions.
